Tyr is pleased to be attending this year’s International Bar Association Annual Conference in Copenhagen. Alistair Kennedy, Matthew Fidler and Dean Jowett, will be traveling to Denmark for a week of discussion, networking and relationship-building.
The IBA Annual Conference takes place from 4–9 October 2026 in the capital city. The conference will bring together more than 6,000 lawyers from around the world at the Bella Center. The annual assembly provides a unique opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss developments within the profession, and build and strengthen relationships with other firms and lawyers internationally.
GREAT Legal Services delegation
Alistair Kennedy and Matthew Fidler will be attending Copenhagen as part of the UK Government’s GREAT Legal Services delegation, which brings together leading UK legal professionals alongside the IBA conference. The UK Government recognises legal services as one of the country’s strongest exports, contributing £34 billion to the economy every year.
The delegation includes a range of activities designed to promote and grow the UK’s legal services internationally. The programme includes roundtables, networking events and seminars to develop international partnerships. As a firm with working partnerships across the globe, our partners look forward to developing the future of the UK’s role in the global legal market.
Dean Jowett will use the conference in Copenhagen as an opportunity to meet with other Managing and Founding Partners, as well as senior leaders from international law firms.
