One of Tyr’s Founding Partners is named Dispute Resolution Lawyer of the Year at the awards ceremony in Leeds.
Legal 500, the worldwide legal ranking firm, hosted the event at Dock Hall, Leeds on the 12th of March 2026. The evening showcased the leading legal individuals and firms from across the North of England. The rankings company chooses category winners using the data gathered when producing their UK Guide 2026. The company rates firms on a wide range of data points, including client feedback, technical expertise and strength of internal teams.
This year, Tyr were ranked as Tier 2 for Commercial Litigation in the 2026 edition after being recognised as being a ‘go-to firm for complex litigation’. Alistair was named as a Leading Partner and experienced lawyers Matthew Fidler, Rebecca Birkby, David Cook and Fiona Barber were all recognised with a Recommended Lawyers accolade.
