We are pleased to announce that founding member of Tyr, Nigel Brook, has been appointed by the Lord Chief Justice as a Deputy District Judge. Nigel’s appointment was recommended following a competitive process administered by the Judicial Appointments Commission.
Nigel will sit on the North Eastern Circuit in the Civil Jurisdiction. He will continue in his role as a Legal Director at Tyr alongside his new judicial duties.
Nigel said of his appointment: “It a real privilege to be able to join the judiciary and play a part in the administration of justice. Having been at Tyr for several years I know that the firm has a strong commitment to the local market and broader legal community, which mirrors my own.”
