Examples of the team’s recent and previous experience
- Acted for a borough council to pursue claims regarding two newly built projects (an office block and school) where serious firestopping defects were discovered.
- Advised a limited company on acquiring a project after a defective dispute with a civil contractor. Guidance and advice on liability, remediation and completion strategy was delivered.
- We were instructed by a construction materials supplier on a key supply contract for a major residential development in London. Advice was provided on contractual strategy, risk allocation and timely delivery of materials.
- Assisted a UK-based multi-utility infrastructure services company with advice on the installation of high-voltage (HV) cables. Expertise was provided concerning contract strategy, risk management and compliance with safety requirements.
