Clients
Lyn advises corporate clients in all environmental and health and safety matters, whether they be contentious or non-contentious. She also specialises in fire safety, as well as dealing with trading standards and other regulatory investigations.
Lyn has acted for clients in a wide range of business sectors, including construction; waste and minerals; chemicals and manufacturing; rail; and food and drink.
Expertise
Lyn has over 30 years’ experience in the environmental field, having been part of one of the first standalone environmental teams in the region.
In addition to advisory and litigation services, Lyn provides training for clients on risk management and compliance, and regulatory investigations. This includes a specialist course on environmental liabilities for directors and senior managers.
Other areas of interest include trading standards investigations and product safety; food safety; competition; and ICO investigations.

Lyn is a former director of YCF (Yorkshire Chemical Focus. Created by Yorkshire Forward to promote chemicals and manufacturing businesses in Yorkshire), which is now part of CATCH in Humberside. CATCH is an industry-led partnership supporting the process, energy, engineering and renewable industries in the Humber region.
